This beautiful handmade weaving in made from a mixture of hand blended, hand spun yarns and synthetic yarns.
This unique one of a kind harvest tone wall hanging will look spectacular in any room. It's nature inspired colours will match any home decor
The yarn used is a blend of Merino wool, Corriedale wool, Nylon, and Acrylic. There are sections of Merino wool roving, and Bio-Nylon roving. The small section of recycled material is made from a repurposed scarf. The hand spun sections were blended and hand spun by myself using 100% wool (Merino and Corriedale). The fringe is made from wool and acrylic yarn.
This is a medium wall hanging, hung on a piece of drift wood recovered from a fresh water lake near my home in Nova Scotia. The drift wood is untreated with the exception of being sterilized.
Overall Dimensions: Wide - 18 inches (45cm) - width of the drift wood. Long - 32 inches (81cm) from the top hanging point to the end of the fringe. Weight is 300 grams
Weaving Dimensions: Wide - 14 inches (36 cm) Long - 25 inches (63 cm) for the weaving Long - Approximately 28 inches (71 cm) from the top of the drift wood to the end of the fringe.
